TrainingTips.com: I know that you believe that “in order for the human body to achieve optimal physical performance and the finest physical appearance, there must be a balance between mind, body, and spirit.” What are some ways that you help your clients achieve this level of balance?
Sara: You only get one body so it is important to take care of it. Many of us work long hours and have tons of commitments that keep us constantly on the go. So we pride ourselves in providing an experience that enables our clients take the hour that they are with us and really focus on their body. Listen to how it feels. Focus on making it better.
The same philosophy holds for teaching about what we put into the body. If you eat crap, you’ll feel like crap. We really stress taking the time to think about the foods you are eating and how each one will affect you in both the near and long term. But optimal performance cannot be reached without also having fun! Exercise should be fun. There are so many opportunities that everyone can find something that they he or she enjoys.
By being able to take time for yourself, exercise, fuel your body properly and enjoy life each day, everyone can create a their own physical equilibrium with the mind, body, and spirit all aligned.
